AWAKE

銀行家基頓（凱頓基斯登遜飾）年紀輕輕，但已擁有最令人羨慕的事業和地位。表面上他與別人無異，每日埋首工作，將最成功一面展現人前，與女友珊（謝茜嘉艾 芭飾）的感情亦到了談婚論嫁的階段。可是，他知道自己時日無多，終日憂心忡忡，除非他能盡快找到一個健全的心臟來進行移植手術。

一天，他終於等到能與符合身體的心臟，他滿懷希望的期待這次手術，並早已安排好是次手術由身為外科手術醫生的好友傑（泰倫斯侯活飾）負責。不過，母親麗莉愛子深切，認為傑曾有手術失敗紀錄，並非最佳人選，故找來全城最有明望的專家主理手術，但基頓堅決反對。

手術室內，基頓全身麻醉後準備接受手術。奇怪的是他雖然動彈不得，但卻然發現自己意識完全清醒，還清清楚楚聽見醫生之間的一切對話。這時他才突然明白這次手術背後，原來隱藏著一個驚人陰謀。到底這是他的胡思亂想，還是真有其事？最後他又會否甦醒過來？


Honestly say, the movie wasn't bad... just alot of gross scenes.. cutting up someone's body, etc.. i know they are fake, but it still look gross..
Through out the movie, i couldn't stop wondering, what if the person next to me, someone who i see as my family, is actually lying to me... eww.. that thought just doesn't seem right... so scary.... to trust someone with my love, but in return, to have such response.....

Another thought came through my head during the movie too.. I wonder if Jeff felt the pain before he died... was he listening when they stopped the machines? Did he feel them putting the needles into his body? (if he did, the will probably scream... a big strong guy, who is afraid of needles... oops.. there goes his secret...) Sometimes... there are just questions that i will never have answers to... I regret why i didn't ask u that question a couple of hours earlier, if i did, i probably know the answer by now....
