"if... then... else...."

why do we always say "if"?!
if we didn't do that, then we won't be regreting now....
if i studied more, then i won't have this mark....
if... if... if.... if.... if.....

i remembered in gr 11 and gr 12 comp sci... in java, i always had statements saying "if ...... then..... else....." i really think the "if" statement only works in computer program language.. it shouldn't be something that we say in life.... cus in real life... there is no if... once something is done... it's done.. there is no going back... so, what's the point of saying "if"s?!

When i think back in my 20 years of life... i think there are a lot of things i want to say "if...."....
if i didn't come to Toronto....
if i didn't go into theatre....
if i studied harder in high school....
and the list goes on................

those are stupid "if"s statements.... cus, who knows if i didn't come to Toronto, what will my future be in HK? i probably won't have cont'd going onto post-secondary... i probably will never have anything to do theatre in my entire life.... i will probably..... there are a lots of "probably".....

as a future "if" statement.... this is a question that i always wonder....
if... one day... i got into an accident... or maybe like i asked on my msn nn before.. if one day i disappear from the world (rather i am dead or just gone missing)...
Will there be anyone who will care enough to notice that i am gone?!
Will there be anyone who will cry because i am dead?!
Will anyone go look for me, or will ppl be glad that i am gone?!
Will ppl just say... "whatever, life goes on..."
I wonder when i die... how many ppl will show up at my funneral.... 1? 2? 5? or max 10?

I really think no one will show up... i don't have good friendships with ppl... i even wonder if my friends actually like me or not... or, do they even consider me as their "friend"? Maybe... if i really do disappear, no one will probably notice........
